Dr. Arlauskas was born in California to an immigrant family from Lithuania. A desire to help others and a genuine love of learning were part of his upbringing from the start. His family relocated to the Portland area when he was four years old, and he has called the Pacific Northwest home ever since.

He completed his undergraduate studies at Oregon State University before earning his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from Oregon Health and Science University, one of the most respected dental programs in the region. That foundation set the stage for a career defined by continuous growth, patient-centered care, and clinical excellence.

A Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry

Dr. Arlauskas holds the distinction of Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry (FAGD), a credential earned by fewer than 6% of dentists in the United States and Canada. This recognition requires hundreds of hours of postdoctoral continuing education, a comprehensive written examination, and demonstrated mastery across multiple fields of dentistry.

It is not a credential handed out easily, and it reflects exactly the kind of dentist Dr. Arlauskas has chosen to be. His passion for learning has taken him to some of the top dental educators in the country, with focused study in dental implants, endodontics, cosmetic dentistry, and full-mouth rehabilitation.

He has also served as a part-time clinical instructor at Oregon Health and Science University, where he mentored dental students in the clinical setting.
